What is a Language Dialect and When Do I Need to Use One?

A very important question indeed and it would be good for you to keep the following in mind:
French spoken in Europe is different to that spoken in Canada.
Spanish spoken in Spain is different to that spoken in South America.
Portuguese spoken in Portugal is different to that spoken in Brazil.

Why is it different? Because each country or part of the world mentioned above has its own particular dialect. Parisian French has words that are pronounced differently in Canada and the same could be said for Spain versus South America. So, when you are making decisions on how to attract French speaking Canadian consumers, you will need to hire translators that are familiar with the French dialect spoken in Canada.

So many times, French people from Paris have some difficulty understanding their counterparts in Canada and those of Spain have much difficulty understanding their fellow Spaniards living in South America. No different to those English speaking persons living in England having difficulty with those English speaking persons of the Caribbean. Please see my reference below.
